Captains Breakfast: ‘Groningen becomes even more accessible’

This year's 20th Captains Breakfast was at the Groninger Museum. Over a hundred large and medium-sized employers, politicians and administrators of governments from the Northern Netherlands attended the event on 2 April 2025.

 

Thijs Zondag, project manager of Groningen province's Wunderline, told attendees about the train connection between Groningen and Bremen. The travel time will be shortened to 2.5 hours. This offers plenty of opportunities for education, business and tourism. 

The organisation of the Captains Breakfast is in the hands of Groningen Bereikbaar. For the Wunderline, Groningen Bereikbaar will also take care of the implementation of the communication to the different target groups of the Wunderline. The Wunderline is expected to start running by the end of 2025!
